Mrs. Marty Venvertloh

                                                        Parish Nurse

Mrs. Marty Venvertloh has worked at the Church of St. Peter as a Parish Nurse since 1989.

Marty attended grade school at St. Peter School and high school at Quincy Notre Dame.  She graduated from Avila University in Kansas City, MO and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing.

In the past Mrs. Venvertloh was the supervisor of the Blessing Hospital Parish Nurse Program, an admitting nurse at Blessing Hospital for 3 years, the head nurse for Carbondale Clinic for four years and her first job was in ICU-CCU in Champaign, IL for 2 years.

Marty has been married to her husband Dale for 38 years.  Scott is 33 and is married to Isabel. They live in Chicago, Craig is 31. He and his wife Janet have 3 children, Will is 5, Anna 3, Lily is 1. They live in Quincy. Kyle is 28. He is married to Kimberly; they have 1 son, John. He is 1 year old. They live in Quincy. DJ is 26. He is married to Morgan and they live in Quincy. Not on did Mrs. Venvertloh attend St. Peter School but her 4 sons and her daughter-in-law Kimberly are St. Peter grads.

Mrs. Venvertloh's favorite food is pizza.  She also enjoys making quilts!

Mrs. Venvertloh volunteered for 2 medical mission trips to Haiti with doctors, nurses and other members of our diocese.   She believes this was the hardest, hottest, and greatest experience, second only to raising four sons!
