South Kindergarten May
Newsletter
It’s
hard to believe that May is here and this is our last month of school. We have some fun activities planned for May
that you should note. I’d like to let
you know that all of your help and support this year has been greatly
appreciated. Your children are special.
Letters of the Month
We
have completed our study of the alphabet.
We will be continuing to review all the letters as well as the
sounds. Are you practicing the letters
and sounds? Don’t forget over the summer
to practice them about once a week.
Math/Science/Reading
We
will conclude our animal unit. We will
do a brief study of dinosaurs. We will
continue to work on addition and subtraction, as well as telling time to the
hour. You have all the sight words for
the school year. Keep practicing
them! Also practice over the summer,
which should help as your child begins first grade!
