PROTECTING GOD’S CHILDREN
Protecting God’s Children for Adults is a child sexual abuse prevention program offered by the diocese to instruct all employees and lay persons who, as volunteers, have regular or significant contact with minors in the Diocese. The purpose of the program is to instruct all on the prevention of child sexual abuse and creating a safe environment for the protection of children and young people.
PROTECTING GOD’S CHILDREN TRAINING The purpose of the program is to instruct all on the prevention of child sexual abuse and creating a safe environment for the protection of children and young people. All staff, volunteers, Scout personnel, parents who accompany children on class trips, and CYO coaches must have attended a session of Protecting God’s Children. If you have not taken this one time training please do so as soon as possible. If you’ve previously attended the program you are not required to attend it again.
