Remedial Resource Teacher
Mrs. Myers has taught at St. Peter School
for 28 years. She taught first grade for twelve years, fourth grade for ten
years, and this is her sixth year as the remedial resource teacher. Mrs.
Myes attended Loraine Grade school in Loraine, Illinois and graduated from
Unity High school in Mendon, Illinois. She attended Quincy College and
received a B.A. in English. She taught remedial reading at Coperas Cove
High School and adult literacy classes while living at Ft. Hood MIlitary
Base in Texas with her husband. When she returned to Quincy she took
additional classes to become certified to teach elementary school.
Mrs. Myers is married to Gary, who is
a Social Worker for the State of Illinois. They have two sons and four
grandsons. Mrs. Myers has a very spoiled black toy poodle named Max. She
tutors at St. Peter School during the summer and teaches PSR classes during
the school year.
