Preschool
Teacher
Ms. Loscher has been the preschool teacher
at St. Peter School since November of 2003.
Ms. Loscher went to Washington Grade School and to Quincy Senior High.
She is currently taking classes at
John Wood Community College.
From 1979-1984 and from 1987-2003, Ms. Loscher worked
at Kiddie Korner Day Care Center. She began as a teacher aide, moved
to teacher, and then to co-director in 1990. In 1985 and 1986 she
worked in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba on a military base at the Child
Development Center as Supervisor. She began and taught the Preschool
Program
for 3 & 4 years. She then developed with the director a Pre
Kindergarten
program that was run for 10 weeks in the summer as intense kindergarten
preparedness.
Ms. Loscher has 2 children. Jordan is 16. He is in 11th grade
at Quincy
Senior High School. His birthday is on Christmas Eve. Bethany is 10
years
old, and is in 5th grade at Baldwin School and her birthday in on Halloween Eve.
Ms. Loscher also has a 3 year old Shihtzu named Samson. He was born on
New Years Eve.
Ms. Loscher finds it easier to say what kind of food she doesn't like.
She
really dislikes Lima Beans! Yuck! She does have favorites like
pizza, pumpkin
pie, chocolate, tacos, burritos and Pepsi (the real thing).
Her hobbies include crafting,
reading, spending time with her children on site seeing and at family interest
locations
(trip to pumpkin patch, festivals, etc.)
