              Reading Recovery Teacher

    Mrs. Holt began her first year at St. Peter School as the Reading Recovery Teacher.  Mrs. Holt holds this position at each of the four Catholic grade schools - All Saints, St. Dominic, St. Francis and St. Peter.         Prior to this year, Mrs. Holt was the Reading Recovery teacher for four years at St. Anthony, All Saints, and St. Boniface School.  Additionally, her past work experience includes teaching  8th grade Language Arts at Quincy Junior High for 1 year. 

    Mrs. Holt graduated from Webster Grade School and Quincy Senior High.  She earned a B.S. in Education from Western Illinois University.  She also holds a Reading Recovery Certificate from Southeast Missouri State University. 

    Mrs. Holt is married to Philip Holt.  He is retired from being an Office Administrator of Human Service.  Mrs. Holt has 3 children.  Doris Gregory is married to Scott.  They have two children, Hanna (8 years old), Cameron (6 years old) and  Jack (6 months old).  Mrs. Holt's other daughter is Jennifer Wiemelt and she is married to Bill.   They have two  children - Summer (10) and Ella (6).  Finally, Peter is Mrs. Holt's son,

    Mrs. Holt has one pet.  He is an old Siamese Cat named Sam. Mrs. Holt's favorite color is red and her favorite food is lasagna.  Her hobbies include enjoying both reading and gardening.
