Mrs. Sandy Gallaher          
          

         Kindergarten  Teacher

    Mrs. Gallaher has been here a total of 20 years. She began her 10th year of teaching kindergarten at St. Peter School. Prior to teaching kindergarten, she taught sixth and second grade here. She taught for one year at Epiphany Grade School in Normal for one year prior to coming to St. Peter School. Mrs. Gallaher began her education in grade school at Sacred Heart in Effingham before transferring to Teutopolis Grade School. She attended Teutopolis High School and received a B.S. in Elementary Education from Quincy College.
Mrs. Gallaher is married to John. They have three children: Amanda, a junior at Quincy University; Jenn, a sophomore at Eastern Illinois University; and Robert, a sixth grader at St. Peter School.
She loves to cook, bake and cross stitch. Her favorite color is light blue and her favorite foods are desserts. She enjoys attending her children's and husband's sporting events.
