Fifth Grade
Teacher
This
year Mrs. Davis began her 21st year of teaching at
St. Peter School.
When Mrs. Davis began teaching third
grade at St. Peter we had a large class
that was divided
into three classrooms. She moved the next year with this class
to fourth grade
and then to fifth the following year. She has been teaching fifth grade
for the past 19
years. She had taught three years prior to this in the
Quincy
Public Schools.
Mrs.
Davis graduated from Quincy Senior High.
She received a B.S. and M.S. in
Elementary Education
from Western Illinois University.
Mrs.
Davis is married to Ron, who is a farmer. She has two children: Suzanne,
who is a teacher and realtor in Gilbert, Arizona, and Matt, who farms with his
father
and is part owner of the Oak Furniture Gallery. Mrs. Davis has two
grandchildren,
Joshua and Jacob and one to arrive in December.
Mrs. Davis
has an Australian Shepherd, Kate, who helps her husband with the
cattle on the
farm. Her favorite color is pink . Her favorite hobbies are Riding
the
four-wheeler at the farm,
reading, and spending time with baby Jacob.
