SCHOOL SUPPLY LISTS

Listed are the supplies needed for the 2007-2008 School Year. 
Please note you may also obtain this list by linking onto each teacher's webpage.

 

KINDERGARTEN 
SCHOOL SUPPLIES

* Please Mark every single item. *

·        1 box of 8 regular size crayons (no florescent colors please)

·        1 box of 16 regular size crayons (no florescent colors please)

·        1 small pencil box that snaps

·        2 standard pencils

·        1 bottle (4 ounce) of Elmer’s or Boss’ glue

·        1 folder with pockets at the bottom (this will go home each day)

·        A book bag or backpack (make sure their folder will fit in it and the zipper works easily; backpacks seem to work very well)  NO book bags on rollers!

·        A paint shirt that covers his or her clothing.  Short sleeves work best.  Check to make sure he or she can put this on by him or herself.

·        An extra pair of shoes is needed this year for gym and is to be left at school.  These may be old, but must be clean.  An inexpensive pair will work fine since we all know how quickly kids can outgrow things.

·        Prang Watercolor paints only (other brands do not seem to last)

·        1 pair of children’s Fiskars or Academic brand scissors with pointed blades

·        1 set of larger size Crayola washable markers in the 8 basic colors only (red, yellow, orange, green, blue, violet, brown and black) No Crayola Kid’s First

·        2 packages of ziploc FREEZER bags (gallon size)

·        1 box of kleenex

·        1 box of wet-wipes

·        8 glue sticks

·        1 large package of napkins

9.)           WATERCOLOR PAINT SET—PRANG OR CRAYOLA

11.)    THREE RED AND ONE GREEN 70 PAGE—  ONE SUBJECT SPIRAL NOTEBOOKS

12.)    A PAIR OF INEXPENSIVE CANVAS TENNIS SHOES OR OLDER TENNIS SHOES TO KEEP AT SCHOOL AND USE FOR GYM CLASS (IN A PLASTIC OR CLOTH BAG)

2nd Grade Supply List
(Mrs. Hogge & Mrs. McCutchen)

&           Number 2 pencils (NO mechanical pencils)

&           Large eraser

&           Crayons – 24

&           Markers – larger size Crayola Classic Colors (8 or 10 count)

&           A bottle of Elmer’s white glue –4 fl. oz.

&           4 glue sticks

&           A pair of sharp pointed scissors

&           12 inch ruler, marked with inches and centimeters

&           Watercolor paint set

&           Paint shirt

&           3 folders with pockets (NO Trapper Keepers)

&           2 (70 page) spiral bound, solid colored, wide ruled notebooks (These will be cut in half by the teachers.)

&           2 large boxes of tissue

&           1 large container of disinfectant wipes (Clorox or Lysol)

&           Gym shoes in plastic bag

&           Pencil box large enough to hold the following supplies:  crayons, markers, scissors, glue, and a glue stick.  Please have these supplies in the box when sent to school.

&           Please mark all the materials with either the child’s name or initials.  This includes individual crayons and markers.

&           All supplies are needed on the first day of school.

 

 

St. Peter 3rd Grade Supply List
Items needed for the 1st week of School
2007-2008

      ·        2 single subject notebooks

·        3 two-pocket folders

·        15 sharpened #2 wooden pencils

·        2 or 3 zippered pencil pouches (for desk organization)

·        1 set of colored pencils sharpened

·        crayons (regular colors)

·        markers (fine or medium point, washable, regular colors not fluorescent)

·        large bottle of Elmer’s school glue and 1 glue stick

·        large eraser

·        1 small package of Stick-it note pads

·        5 or 6 red erasable pens (can be found at Staples or Wal-Mart)

·        Scissors

·        1 ruler with centimeter marks and inch marks

·        100 index cards (3x5)

·        1 package of wide-lined loose leaf paper (at least 100 count, not college ruled)

·        3 large family size boxes of tissues

·        backpack

1 extra pair of tennis shoes for gym.  They may be an old, clean pair or an inexpensive pair, as they may need to be replaced as they are outgrown.

1 cardboard shoebox to store gym shoes.

Please label everything with your child’s name.  PLEASE no trappers, hard pencil boxes, binders, or gym bags.  There is no room to store these items.

3 red grading pens (not erasable)

Scissors (please obtain a good quality pair as we do detailed    cutting and school type are not adequate)

Ruler with centimeters and inches

Gym shoes in a shoe box

Assignment notebook (This will be purchased from school during the first week of school)

3 dry erase white board markers (no yellow)

The following items will not be allowed:  click top pens, white-out, permanent markers, non-erasable pens (except red), Trappers, binders, school boxes, or hard cover notebooks.

Zip-lock bags are great for storing little loose items.
